Accommodation provider Ski France is running a ‘Kids Go Free’ offer all this season – offering free board to all children up to the age of 18 on the same board basis as their parents at two of its top hotels; Hotel le Mottaret in Méribel Mottaret and Hotel Ibiza in Les Deux Alpes. Parents can book a family room at Hotel le Mottaret or a large northern or duplex room at Hotel Ibiza, and their kids will stay for free. A week’s stay, during the Christmas holidays, for two adults and two children (age 17 and under) at Hotel Le Mottaret costs from £241pp (with the Kids Go Free deal) on a half-board basis. While at Hotel Ibiza it costs from £326pp.
There is a dedicated page on the Ski Famille website just for family skiing offers throughout December and January. For example, how about Christmas week in family-friendly Les Gets staying in the catered Chalet Les Chats Bleus? Arriving 23rd December the cost is £2,999 for a family of four including Gatwick flights or Eurotunnel Flexiplus crossing, transfers and childcare.

Four Hautes-Pyrenees resorts of Saint-Lary, Peyragudes, Piau-Engaly and Val Louron will be linked under a new lift pass this winter. The Pyrenees 2 Vallees pass costs €20 for eight days and then each day skied is paid on top, with a discount of 10-15% off the standard day pass depending on time of season. A shuttle bus operates between each resort.
From 8-28th April the Lake Annecy Ski Resort of La Clusaz is running a Learn to Ski for Free deal for beginners. It includes 3 or 5 half-day adult beginner group lessons with ESF, a ski pass for the duration of the free group lessons and 50% discount on ski hire.
SKIING INTO SPRING
Skiing Into Spring gets underway on the 20th of March in the French mountains. Each resort cooks up a range of options to suit their clientele. Some offer free ski passes for kids, others lay on free lessons for adult beginners. Accommodation + ski pass packages can be found for as little at €150 for the week and there are offers for weekends and short breaks. The initiative is specially focused on families because the Easter holidays are a great time to take your children skiing.
Crystal Ski has deals to over 120 destinations this winter for all dates including Christmas, New Year and Easter, but not February half term. For example a week's half board at the four-star Family Resort Seiblishof in Ischgl, Austria, is from £1,085 per person including flights from Gatwick to Innsbruck, childcare, and transfers (price given is for departure on 6 January 2018 - book by 2 October 2017. Deal includes £116 for BOGOHP lift pass offer and €100 hotel credit.
Ski Collection is offering 20% peak weeks in Avoriaz. Seven nights in family-friendly self-catered apartments L’Amara located at 1800m and with a ski-in/ski-out position from £400pp (was £500pp). Peak Retreats is offering 10% off seven nights at the self-catering Etoile des Cimes apartment in Sainte Foy, with prices starting from £162pp (was £180pp). A good choice for families and groups of friends. Price is based on five sharing a two-bed apartment (sleeps 6) arriving on January 13th 2018. Includes a standard Eurotunnel crossing with free upgrade to FlexiPlus.
Save 30% at the Ermitage du Lac in Tremblant, Canada, with Ski Safari. Save more than 20% on an Easter ski holiday at Isola 2000 with Pierre & Vacances.
